Frequently Asked Questions – Wilson Prize

What is Wilson Prize?

Wilson Prize is the trading name of ABS Technologies Limited (company number 16153263, registered in England and Wales), a UK prize draw platform where you can win luxury prizes — cash, tech, experiences and vouchers — while supporting charity. A portion of the proceeds from every draw supports our charity partner, SAFE New Futures.

How does Wilson Prize work?

Browse the active prize draws, choose one and enter — either by buying a ticket online or by free postal entry. Every valid entry, paid or free, goes into the same pool with an equal chance of winning. When the draw closes, a winner is selected at random using a certified random number generator.

Is Wilson Prize legitimate and how is it regulated?

Yes. Wilson Prize is the trading name of ABS Technologies Limited, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16153263), with its registered office at 5 Brayford Square, London E1 0SG. You can verify the company on the Companies House website. Wilson Prize operates under UK Gambling Commission guidelines applicable to charity prize draws, and every draw always offers a free postal entry route.

Who can enter?

Entrants must be at least 18 years old and a legal resident of the United Kingdom. Certain people are not eligible (“prohibited persons”), including employees, officers and directors of Wilson Prize and its draw partners, the involved charities’ trustees, and their close family or household members. Full details are in our Terms and Conditions.

How do I enter?

Create a free online account, then enter any open draw either by purchasing a ticket online (credit/debit cards or cryptocurrency accepted) or by sending a free postal entry. Paid and free entries have an equal chance of winning.

Is there a free entry route?

Yes. Every Wilson Prize draw has a free postal entry option, and postal entries are treated exactly the same as paid entries, with an equal chance of winning.

How do I enter for free by post?

First create an online account, then send a postal entry containing your full legal name, your address (no PO Box), your city and postcode, the email address matching your online account, your telephone number (optional), and the title of the prize draw you are entering. Send one entry per envelope and make sure your details match your account. Post to: Wilson Prize Postal Entry, ABS Technologies Limited, 5 Brayford Square, London E1 0SG, England. Postal entries must be received and processed before 5pm UK time on the closing date.

How are winners chosen?

All valid entries — paid and free — are placed into the same pool, and a winner is chosen at random using a certified random number generator, so every entry has an equal chance.

How will I know if I have won?

Winners are contacted using the details provided when entering, normally within about 7 days of the draw closing.

Can I take cash instead of the prize?

Where a draw offers a cash alternative, you can choose it instead of the prize. Cash alternatives are paid by UK bank transfer or PayPal within 5 working days of winner confirmation. Where no cash alternative is stated, prizes cannot be exchanged for cash.

What charity does Wilson Prize support?

Wilson Prize’s founding charity partner is SAFE New Futures, which helps people across the UK through a free programme combining mental health support and job-readiness training. A portion of the proceeds from every draw supports our charity partners.

When are draws held?

Draws run regularly, and each prize page shows that draw’s closing date and time. Wilson Prize has been running draws since 1 August 2025.
