Wilson Prize offers a free postal entry option for all its competitions. Postal entries are treated exactly the same as paid entries, ensuring all participants have an equal chance of winning.
However, to maintain fairness and prevent abuse, all postal entrants must first create an online account and accept our Terms & Conditions. This allows us to verify entries and provide an electronic record of participation.
How to Enter for Free by Post
- Create an Online Account: Before submitting a postal entry, you must register an account.
- Write Your Details on a Blank Sheet of Paper or Postcard:
- Full, legal name
- Address (no PO Box addresses accepted)
- City & Postcode
- Email Address (must match online account)
- Telephone Number (optional)
- The Title of the Prize Draw you wish to enter
Your details must match the information in your Wilson Prize account. Illegible, incomplete, or mismatched entries may be disqualified.
Each postal entry must be submitted in a separate envelope or postcard. Multiple entries in a single envelope will not be accepted.

Postal Entry Guidelines & Conditions
- One Entry Per Competition: Each postal entry is valid for one specific prize draw only.
- Equal Chance of Winning: Postal entries are treated the same as paid entries.
- Processing & Cut-Off Dates: Entries must be received and processed before 5 PM (GMT/BST) on the deadline.
- Subscriber-Exclusive Draws: Postal entries are not eligible for Subscriber-Exclusive or Flash Draws.
Open to UK residents aged 18 or over only
There is no limit to the number of postal entries, provided each is sent separately
Winner Selection & Transparency
Winners are chosen at random using a certified random number generator (RNG)
All valid entries, paid or postal, are entered into the same pool
Entries are logged and timestamped securely (potentially using blockchain for auditing)
Winners will be contacted within 7 days of the draw closing
